Hi! I did everything according to your method, and also wanted to check the transmission while engine in idle, I put it in drive and the prop does not spin forward or backward. Does your prop spin when you are off the lake?

If you would be on a market for a new or recent boat, what would be your top 3 options for wakeboarding with a budget of 100-120k max? Would you go for a brand new boat lower trim or a pre-owned better boat? And what would be the best bang for the buck?

Dang, in MO we go without a wetsuit at about 76 degrees. From about 70ish we go with a wetsuit top. Now our air temp is warmer earlier too. Keep up the great content.

I’ve spent time on both and ridden both waves. There is no comparison when it comes to surf waves. The centurion is the clear winner. I have a 23’ moomba Mojo both are much better waves than mine but the centurion wave was incredible! The G23 wins for luxurious interior, and storage, but Id give it to the centurion for wave, looks, ride and fuel economy.

The 24mxz/A24 are really hard to beat as a jack of both sports. That plus the ease of use aka idiot proof are why they are so popular.

Nice work! As far as ballast timers go, first time on the lake before you start filling just go ahead and reset them, it'll take 2-3 fill and drain cycles for them to program to the new size bags, once programmed shouldn't be any need to ever hit fill/drain a second time. Doesn't seem like the reset does anything but it resets it. If eventually you notice it not filling or draining all the way its prob time to replace your ballast impellers.

I'll be a new inboard boat owner pretty soon. It seems like all of this should be pretty intuitive. But I can see going into Reverse the first time could get you to panic a bit if your use to outboards. Thanks for the vid.

I do a bunch of different boat winterizations every fall. Some boats are absolutely miserable to work on, especially in regards to winterizing the ballast tanks. The other thing is I always drain the water out wherever I can (block/manifolds/heater core/etc) before I run in the antifreeze so there is little chance of diluting the antifreeze as it pumps through the system.

Good videos. Would be interesting to know how you do the whole wakeboat thing with an infant we have a 6 month old and we are trying to figure it out with just me and my wife.

Glad you were able to figure out the fuel tank situation, that will make refueling a lot easier for sure. And nice to see you shaking off the rust on the board. I struggle riding a river with a current since I don't do it much. Just need to adjust the speed of the boat for up/down current like you said. Many don't know that. I typically use my hand-held Garmin to figure out the speed of the current and then make sure the running speed is actually matching the set speed of the boat per direction.

Great video. I was looking into doing what you did for my '22 G23. We have a fuel station on my lake but they consistently have water contamination. My boat is stored in my boathouse on a lift so trailering to a station isn't practical. They sell non ethanol all around me so I would rather do what you are doing. You might try Blue Monster tape with a thin layer of Megaloc to stop any leaks.
